Walking Barefoot Has Many Great Health Benefits!


Grains of sand have intrigued us for thousands of years. They move with the rise and fall of oceans. Muse artists love to see footprints in the sand at the shore. Sand also allows innovative scientist to create new technologies such as computer chips and optical fibers for telecommunications.


It reminds us through the hourglass that once time has flown away, there’s no turning it back. We travel over the torrid lifeless desert until the heat and arid winds of sand push us to the twilight of a tropical oasis. So what exactly is sand and how can we integrate it into our wellness regimen?
Sand is a naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. The composition of sand varies, depending on the local rock sources and conditions, but the most common constituent of sand in inland continental settings and non-tropical coastal settings is silica (silicon dioxide, or SiO2), usually in the form of quartz. Sand comes in an array of colors including light brown, white, black, green and even pink.


Researchers have found that the simple act of walking in the sand for a few minutes will improve our health tenfold. The healing light rays from the sun are absorbed by sand at the beach and is distributed throughout our bodies to bring soothing and rejuvenating wellness.


The exercise of walking on sand increases blood circulation, improves mental clarity, acts as a natural foot massager and exfoliate (walking barefoot will result in softer feet in no time), and activates our lymphatic system for better immunity, as well as helps you stay grounded.
